Welcome to Sangalaki Dive Lodge

Scuba Diving in Borneo, Indonesia around Sangalaki and to Kakaban, Maratua & Samama and see Mantas, Turtles, Sharks...

Welcome back Divers!

After a ‘dubious’ recent history, the Lodge has now reopened!

The Managing Partners are Jeremy Stein and his wife Caroline Istas who are based full time on the Island.
Jeremy is an English PADI Course Director and has spent the last 15 years establishing & developing diving in Vietnam: Rainbow Divers. He now has 6 PADI centres throughout the country and together with his partner, Graham Lee and their team, they set the standards for diving & training in Vietnam.

Caroline is a Belgian PADI MSDT and a professional photographer. Her above & underwater shots have been published worldwide.

Service & professionalism are now the key words for the Lodge. 4 chalets have been rebuilt to offer more spacious & up to date accommodation. The main Lodge, Dive Station, TV Room, Bar & Dive Boutique have been fully renovated. So, for the immediate future, a maximum of 8 guests will be staying & diving on the Island. This will ensure exclusivity, peace & quiet and of course, quality diving!

Our Island ‘Captain’ is Alfato (Alf), who is Indonesian and speaks excellent English & a little Japanese. Our Chef is Angora, also an Indonesian National who has extensive experience of working throughout Europe. His dishes can therefore be tailor-made to your personal taste buds!

So, please contact us and allow us to help arrange your exclusive dive trip for yourself & maybe a few friends!
