Welcome to Sangalaki Dive Lodge

Scuba Diving in Borneo, Indonesia around Sangalaki and to Kakaban, Maratua & Samama and see Mantas, Turtles, Sharks...

Welcome back Divers!

The owners of the Dive Lodge are Jeremy Stein and his wife Caroline Istas who are based full time on the Island.
Jeremy is an English PADI Course Director and has spent the last 15 years establishing & developing diving in Vietnam: Rainbow Divers. He now has 6 PADI centres throughout the country and together with his partner and their team, they set the standards for diving & training in Vietnam.

Caroline is a Belgian PADI MSDT and a professional photographer. Her above & underwater shots have been published worldwide.

Sangalaki is truly a conservation Island and as such all our buildings are in keeping with this philosophy; simple & unobtrusive. 24 hour power is available on demand, but we prefer not to over-pollute the atmosphere with our generators unless specifically requested.

Our Chef is Angora, an Indonesian National who has extensive experience of working throughout Europe. His dishes can therefore be tailor-made to your personal taste buds! However, the meals are adequate and simple, so please don’t expect 5* cuisine.

So, please contact us and allow us to help arrange your exclusive dive trip for yourself & maybe a few friends!
