The Island of Sangalaki is located off the East coast of the Indonesian portion of Borneo. The Sangalaki Dive Lodge resort is uncrowded (maximum of 20 guests plus staff), the diving is spectacular, and exotic marine life that you've probably only seen in National Geographic is plentiful; come to where the Mantas play and the Turtles lay...

A typical routing for Sangalaki would be:
Day 1: 8am Singapore - Balikpapan. 2pm Balikpapan - Berau. Weather permitting, speedboat (2 hours) to the Island. If the weather is unsuitable, then an overnight in Berau followed by an early boat to the Island.
Diving Days: Breakfast followed by 2 morning dives. Return for Lunch. 1 or 2 afternoon dives. Optional Night Dive. Dinner. Drinks. Relax. Sleep!
Final Day: Early Breakfast. 2-3 dives. Lunch. Depart for Berau 2pm. Overnight Berau. Early flight the following morning to Balikpapan - Singapore.
Alternate routings via KK-Tawau/Terakan also option.
PLEASE NOTE: As some arrival times will involve a short walk from the boat to the shore in knee-depth water, maybe don't arrive in your Armani trousers or Dior dresses, Gucci or Prada shoes!!
