Prof. Andrew Sizeland, from Melbourne, Australia became our first graduate from the 2009 residential DM course on Sangalaki.

He also completed 7 PADI Specialty courses including the Sangalaki Nudibranch Spec, Sangalaki Diver Spec, Deep, Navigation, O2 First Aid, Search & Recovery.

He is now off to Vietnam to complete the PADI/DSAT Deep Tec course with PADI Course Director Grant Martin, the only Tec Instructor in Vietnam. And later in March, Andrew will return to Vietnam to take part in the IDC.

Diving in Phu Quoc Island is coming to the end of the season. However, the good news is that this marks the new seasons on  Whale Island & in Hoi An.

Whale Island will open in time for Tet (Chinese New Year) at the end of January and Hoi An, at the end of February

For a limited period, Sangalaki Dive Lodge is offering an exclusive 30 day residential Divemaster Course for US$7,500. Couples sharing a double or twin room just $6,250 each.

The Course includes up to 30 nights accom, all meals, a minimum of 50 dives, transfers to & from the Island & 5 PADI Specialities (Deep, Night, Nav, Nitrox & Nudibranch).

Maximum intake per month is 4 students and they will be taught by PADI Course Director Jeremy Stein.
